14-Day Online Cancellation Right
For most standard online purchases, consumers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
Customers must notify A&K Customs of their decision to cancel within that period and return the goods within a further 14 days.
Where the cancellation right applies, refunds will include the standard outbound delivery charge, subject to applicable legal rules.
Customers may be responsible for direct return postage costs where this has been disclosed before purchase.
Refunds will be processed within the legally required timeframe. We may withhold reimbursement until returned goods are received or proof of return is provided, where permitted by law.
Customers may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Any deduction for diminished value must comply with applicable law.
Customised Products
Products genuinely made to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right where legally permitted.
Selecting a standard product from existing options does not automatically remove cancellation rights.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements, customers retain their statutory rights to appropriate remedies, including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as applicable.
These rights are not excluded by installation, opening packaging, a supplier warranty or the expiry of a commercial guarantee.
